Diagnostic Assessments for Individuals

A diagnostic assessment is a full psychological assessment that will confirm if an individual has dyslexia and / or dyspraxia.

We are also able to screen for ADHD (ADHD screenings do not provide a medical diagnosis but can enable individuals to access educational and workplace support due to any traits identified, and can help with NHS referrals).

We provide assessments for university and college students, adults in the workplace, and school aged children (aged 7+). We offer both in-person and remote assessments. All assessments are carried out by an experienced Specialist Assessor with an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) to meet the highest industry standards of assessment.

A detailed report is completed afterwards, which will highlight strengths and challenges and make recommendations for support. It can also be used to:

• Apply for exam concessions, such as extra time.
• Apply for funding through DSA (Disabled Students' Allowance).
• Apply for an Access to Work Grant or to request reasonable adjustments at work.

The reports are designed to help individuals to understand their unique learning profile and learning strategies.

A full diagnostic assessment with the report costs £360. Half is payable before the assessment session and the rest is due afterwards. If dyslexia / support needs are not found, the client may opt not to receive the report and won't be charged the remaining half of the fee.
